In a public speech at The American University of Paris, followed by a private dinner conversation at the iconic Paris restaurant, Pavillon Ledoyen, former Attorney General Michael B. Mukasey spoke out on the issues of “Balancing Democracy, Justice, and Security”.

General Mukasey’s thoughts were particularly relevant and timely given the recent shootings at Fort Hood, Texas and the decision by current Attorney General, Eric Holder, to try Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and several co-conspirators in a New York civilian court.
